Disc Pastillator The Disc Pastillator, or pelletizing disc, is used to create pastilles. Pastillizing is the process whereby a liquid product is congealed into pastilles. The molten product is dosed via a stationary dosing head placing pastilles onto an intermittent rotating disc. The moment that the product hits the disc it starts to congeal. The process of dosing, congealing and pastillizing is completed in less than one rotation. The result is easily transportable pastilles, perfectly uniform in shape and quality. |
