Support from GMF-Gouda's own service organization The Service Department of GMF-Gouda consists of a team of experienced, highly-educated specialists. The team is responsible for the installation, start-up and continued functioning of the machines. |

Installation and start-up Whether it concerns a new or an overhauled machine, it is generally arranged with the customer that the machine will be installed or started up by, or under supervision of, a GMF-Gouda mechanic. The advantages of this are:
Overhauls Overhauling machines is one of the specialties of our Service Department. After a comprehensive inspection of the machine by a mechanic specifically trained for this purpose, it is determined which parts of the machine need an overhaul. Overhauls can be performed on the machines that are built by GMF-Gouda:

But GMF-Gouda can also overhaul machines of other (competing) manufacturers. In consultation with the customer, it is determined where the overhaul is to take place: in the factory of GMF-Gouda or on-site at the customer. A good example of an on-site overhaul operation is the grinding of a drum with a mobile grinding unit. In principle, after an overhaul the capacity of the machine is so improved that the original capacity is again achieved (assuming that the specific properties of the product have remained identical). |

Upgrades Upgrade means: "the use of modern techniques on existing machines." In this way, "old" machinery is modernized so that it once again meets the requirements of the times. An upgrade can, for instance, result in an improvement of the capacity of the machine or in an improvement in the field of hygiene and/or operation. |

Parts supply Our Service Department also provides a parts supply service. At GMF-Gouda, stock is kept of all critical parts of the machines. Delivery of parts can be organized in the very short term so that the continuity of the production process remains undisturbed. 7 / 24 service The GMF-Gouda Service Department provides service 7 days a week, 24 hours a day.
